Red hot! Nicki Minaj looks simply stunning in crimson Calvin Klein dress for Vogue

She’s known for her provocative lyrics and unique delivery.

But Nicki Minaj looked every inch the supermodel as she posed for a series of photos in the March 2018 edition of Vogue magazine.

The 35-year-old rapper ditched her traditional Barbie-themed fanfare for a more demure photo shoot wearing a stunning Calvin Klein dress for the issue featuring a ‘Taking Over’ theme.

Nicki – real name Onika Tanya Maraj – sizzled in the coveted magazine spread photographed by Mikael Jansson.

A gorgeous red dress hugged her figure with long pieces of shiny leather fabric wrapped around her neck.

In one fabulous black-and-white photo, the garment was revealed to feature a supremely full skirt.

The Super Bass songstress swept back her long black hair into a low bun, with delicate cat-eye liner swiped across her lids.

Her large Chinese lettering tattoo was front and center of the images, which she’s previously discussed roughly translates into ‘God is with me always.’

The March 2018 edition detailed how new designers are influencing storied fashion houses.

She started the new year as a single woman after reportedly breaking up with boyfriend Nas after seven months of dating.

The couple are believed to have started dating in June 2017, but sources close to the situation have told TMZ ‘the relationship ran out of steam’.

An insider added: ‘They respect each other, and there won’t be any trash talking – but, on the other hand, they won’t be hanging out as friends either.’

Nicki previously dated fellow rapper Meek Mill, 30, for two years from early 2015 to January 2017.
